I suppose what I really am is the id of technology. The one who says what technology thinks.

• The internet is a frontier territory, where all the action is.
• The internet frontier has given rise to a global technology class.
• This class is not defined by inherited wealth nor by legacy instituitions but by the ability to create wealth and the desire to found new institutions
• These new institutions will eventually include not just new companies, and new currencies, but new cities and even new countries.

Background

I come from the generation before the internet was really useful.

In venture capital and content creation, originality is really, really valued. Whether you call it originality, being disobedient, or being contrarian—the combination of being analytical and not fully obedient has been important.

I have a long-term horizon; I have eyes on the long-term goals of transhumanism. But I’m willing to be pragmatic and execute in the short run. I go down the to-do list toward that North star.
